Details of the Live Medicine Interview Course
The Live Medicine Interview Course (CR301) gives students the tools to perform in the Medical and Dental admissions interview. The course includes both live interview skills training and online materials. The live interview practice component is the key to improving interview competencies.
Prepared by Medical Specialists & Senior Lecturers from leading Australian University Medical Schools, the course allows students to practice skills they need to succeed in the admissions interview. Consequently, candidates who complete the course enter their interview with knowledge and confidence. This then strengthens their chances of acceptance into the Medical or Dental School of their choice. The Live Medicine Interview Course (CR301) is suitable for students from either undergraduate (UCAT) or postgraduate (GAMSAT) streams.
The Live Medicine Interview Course will include live interviews which are designed to be representative of the real interview scenario. Furthermore, all candidates will be given personalised advice and strategies for improvement based on these live interview scenarios. The course materials also include online access to the METC Medicine Interview Preparation Module. The module contains analysis of strategies and skills needed for success, including examples of past questions and real scoring assessment criteria. Also, it includes practice units for students to complete between the course and their admissions interview.
