UMAT preparation courses are designed to equip year 12 students with the skills necessary to perform in the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Test (UMAT).
Year 12 students require general skills in problem solving, logical reasoning, understanding of social sciences, and data interpretation to be able to score highly in this competitive exam. Courses prepare students by reviewing both the conceptual theory underpinning the exam, and via practice exams and feedback. The theory component of UMAT preparation courses covers the purpose of the exam, logic underlying the question writing, question archetypes, common themes, and advice on how best to prepare for the exam. Students are then able to practice and apply their skills via live and online practice exams.
