    The first course is the Foundations of Dermatology course (SC103). This course aims to develop clinical confidence in the diagnosis and treatment of common dermatological conditions in order to expand the clinician’s scope of practice and improve local primary care provision. The Advanced Dermatology for General Practice course (SC203) is the second course. In this course, participants build on their existing knowledge via developing specific competencies in the diagnosis and management of complex dermatological conditions. The overall aim is for participants to maximise local management of dermatological complaints and to become the reference point for colleagues in their primary care network.
